Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how EASYPRO PLUS LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a company organized in the State of Florida, United States, collects, uses, protects, and shares information in connection with our USCIS case-status monitoring service (the "Service"). We wrote this policy in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, email us at [email protected].
1. What information we collect
We collect only what the Service needs to monitor an immigration case and alert the person who asked us to:
- Case receipt numbers you provide (the 13-character USCIS receipt number).
- Case status information we retrieve from USCIS for that receipt number (status text, form type, dates, and status history).
- Contact details (email address and, if you choose, phone number) so we can send you an alert when a case changes.
We do not collect geolocation data, financial data, medical data, biometric data, or government-issued identification documents through this Service.
2. How we use your information
- To check the status of the case tied to the receipt number you gave us.
- To detect when that status changes and notify you.
- To keep the Service secure and working correctly.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build profiles about you.
3. How we share information — and how we do not
- We do not sell your information. We never exchange it for money or other consideration.
- We do not disclose your information (including de-identified, anonymized, or pseudonymized data) to any third party for any reason without your active consent.
- We use a small number of service providers to operate the Service, and only for that purpose:
- USCIS Torch API — the government source we query for case status.
- Resend and Twilio — to deliver your email or text alerts.
- Render and GitHub — to run and host the Service.
- You control your data-sharing choices: you may decline or withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. If you decline, we cannot monitor the case, but no data is shared. Sharing case information always carries some risk; we limit sharing to exactly what is described here.
4. Consent and authority
We monitor a case only when the request comes from the case's applicant or from an authorized legal representative (for example, an attorney or accredited representative with a Form G-28 on file). By submitting a receipt number, you confirm you are authorized to access that case's status and consent to this policy.
5. Your rights — deletion, access, and closure
- Delete your data at any time. Email [email protected] and we will permanently delete the receipt numbers, stored status history, and contact details associated with you within 30 days.
- Close your monitoring. Ask us to stop monitoring any case and we will remove it and its stored data on the same 30-day timeline.
- California residents have the rights provided by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt out; we honor these requests and do not discriminate against you for exercising them.
6. How long we keep information (retention)
We keep a case's receipt number, its last-known status, and your contact details only while you are actively monitoring that case. If monitoring is stopped, or an account is dormant with no activity for 12 months, we delete the associated data within 30 days. We do not keep information longer than needed to provide the Service.
7. Data breach notification
If we discover a data breach that affects your information, we will notify you promptly by email, describe what happened and what information was involved, and give you clear instructions on what to do to protect yourself.
8. Changes to this policy, or to our business
- If we materially change this policy, we will ask for your active consent before the change applies to you, and we will include a short, plain-language summary of what changed.
- If ownership of the Service changes, or if the business is transferred or closes, we will notify you by email and explain how your information will be handled. Any successor is bound by the commitments in this policy; if data cannot be transferred under equal protection, it is deleted.
